Tennison Ridge features rich plum-burgundy plicata markings that create a dramatic contrast against their pristine snow-white falls. The ruffled and flaring flowers are produced abundantly on three to four branches, each with 7-10 triple-socketed buds. This iris blooms early, midseason, and late, offering a long-lasting display of color. Although not fragrant, it is a reblooming variety and has received notable awards, including the HM in 1991 and AM in 1993.
Growing Tips for Iris germanica 'Tennison Ridge'
