This plant has got to be on the juice! One look at 'Incrediball®' and you'll swear some plant breeder has found a way to inject plants with anabolic steroids. How else can you explain the flowers this plant pumps out starting in July and continuing into late summer? Each bloom has roughly 4 times as many individual white flowers as 'Annabelle' and the globe they form seems at least 4 times as big...they are enormous!! Even better, its stems seem to have benefitted from this alleged drug activity since they are strong and thick with nary a care of collapsing under the weight of the massive bloom. 'Incrediball®' forms a dense, rounded plant featuring deep green foliage with buds forming at the end of the new year's growth. While it really is untrue that 'Incrediball®' is the first plant on steroids, its great bloom and strong stems are the real deal and this plant will keep you enthralled when planted in full sun in most any well drained soil.

Growing Tips for Hydrangea arborescens Incrediball® 'Incrediball®'

Prune back by one-third its total heigh in early spring to encourage strong new growth and flowering. Do not cut it back to the ground! Flower color is not affected by soil pH. Best in moist, well drained soil but adapts to most sites. Avoid excessive and high nitrogen fertilizers - one application of a granular fertilizer formulated for woody plants (like a rose fertilizer) is sufficient for the year.
