Try this for a new twist on an old fashioned plant… gold foliage! That's right, 'Gold Heart' has the Bleeding Heart flower that we all know and love each spring, but with a bright twist of gold foliage that doesn't fade and noticeably brightens the partially shaded growing area that is ideal for this selection. 'Gold Heart' is as vigorous as the old fashioned Bleeding Heart, forming a dense, considerably sized clump that begins to bud and bloom early, usually in early May, and continues into mid June, with a multitude of arching strings of rose pink heart shaped flowers. The gold foliage is deeply cut and clean until the plant begins to go dormant in mid-summer.
